A map designed for the Goodwood Road Racing Club to highlight the benefits of membership at Revival. The Goodwood Revival is a three-day festival held each September at Goodwood Motor Circuit for the types of cars and motorcycles that would have competed during the circuit's original period, 1948–1966. The brief was to create a map, with vignettes, in a style similar to certain children's books from the  50's and 60's.  I designed the complete layout, text position, arrows, map and vignettes.
I chose the font to compliment and enhance the feel of 1950's style book illustrations.
The vignettes that were specifically highlighting different companies had to be approved by that client, through Goodwood.
These three cars were painted in three colours specified by Smith & Williamson.
The client wanted the illustrations to have very little line in the drawing.
